Park Rules and Regulations

South Cherokee Park Rules and Regulations

1.      No firearms or weapons are allowed in the park.

2.      No alcoholic beverages, intoxicated persons, or illegal drugs of any kind will be tolerated. No tobacco use of any kind will be tolerated inside or around the playing fields, dugouts, or concession area. Smoking is allowed in the parking lot only.

3.      No speeding or reckless driving in the park. No double parking or blocking of entrances or roadways. Emergency vehicles must have access at all times. No parking in the reserved handicap parking area unless a handicap sticker is visible. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking will be at the owner’s risk. South Cherokee Baseball is not responsible for ANY loss or damage incurred on our property.

4.      Harassment of umpires, players or coaches will not be tolerated.

5.      No profane or abusive language or gestures will be allowed. There will be no fighting at any time.

6.      Vandalism, disregard or destruction of any property/equipment owned by South Cherokee Baseball shall be considered grounds for immediate expulsion and/or prosecution.

7.      No animals of any kind are allowed on South Cherokee property. You (and your pet) will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Service Animals with an authorized permit are allowed.

8.      All children must be always attended by a parent or adult when participating in any activity at South Cherokee.

9.      The park rules must be strictly enforced to maintain order. Violation of the park rules and any other conduct rules that are generally accepted as community standards can constitute grounds for immediate ejection from the event. If a parent or player is ejected from a game two times within the same season, they will not be allowed to rejoin the team. Repeated offenses may bar future participation at South Cherokee. Upon expulsion from participation in the events of this association, all registration fees will be forfeited.
