Welcome to South Cherokee Baseball
South Cherokee has proudly served the Woodstock, Georgia community since 1963. With a history spanning more than 60 years, our organization is privately funded through the generous support of volunteers, alumni, corporate sponsors, and the public. We are proud to be a cornerstone of youth athletics in Braves Country Baseball and to host numerous visiting tournaments each year.
Our mission is to offer a structured, competitive baseball program guided by the principles and regulations of South Cherokee and Braves Country Baseball. At the heart of our program is a commitment to developing not only athletic ability but also character. We believe that instilling values like sportsmanship, integrity, and respect at an early age lays the foundation for our children to become successful, well-rounded adults.
We work hard to maintain a family-friendly environment where children can thrive physically, socially, and emotionally through their love of baseball. While athletic achievement is important, our true goal is to help shape the next generation of responsible and compassionate citizens.
Volunteers are the backbone of our park. As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, we rely on community involvement to continue growing and improving. Children learn by example, and by volunteering, you demonstrate the power of giving back and the joy that comes from making a difference. It’s also a meaningful way to connect with our community and help ensure the long-term success of our program.
Join us—be a part of something special. Sign up to volunteer today!
